Seamless Latch
I just love how they've seamlessly integrated the logo on the hatch to also serve as the handle. It's hard to tell from the picture if there are any affordances that would help someone understand this is the handle, but the concept is great. Any time a single element can elegantly serve two purposes, you're onto something good.

As far as I know VW cars with that latch I can state that there are no hints pointing to its functionality. Once you get it, it's nice. But the first time you try to open the hatch, you just stare at it in confusion. Probably not the best solution.
