We've just got a quick update for August. It has felt like the slowest month so far in terms of progress, but that's mainly due to the fact that we've been almost entirely focused on fixing bugs and polishing the interface. So, while a lot has happened, there's not a whole lot of externally visible progress.
The Alpha, soon-to-be-beta, has been marching along. We currently have 102 users, 35 projects, and 363 issues being tracked across 30 accounts. It's a modest start, but after months of development with only the occasional sneak preview for friends, it's a nice milestone. We also recorded our first official revenue last week, so things are moving along and all of the kinks are starting to disappear. We still don't have an official release date, but it's approaching quickly.
In addition to all of the activity in the beta, I'll be giving a presentation on Sifter and application interface design at the next Refresh Dallas meeting on September 25th at Ackerman McQueen. If you're interested and live in the Dallas area, we'll be giving out beta invites at the meeting. Then, I'll be following it up with a quick trip to Atlanta for a similar presentation at Webmaster Jam Session.
We built a simple bug and issue tracker named Sifter and we blog about it when we're not working on it. We think it’s a great way to get feedback and keep everyone updated on our status.
Grab our feedWe'll only send emails for significant product announcements, and those happen every couple of months at most. Of course, we won't give away or sell your e-mail address either.

Safe travels, and good luck down the homestretch!
I hoping for an invite, been following the progress and design docs for what seems like a year, and tolerating fogbugz all along. Please let me get out of there and onto Sifter.
