April Status Update

Things are chugging along, and April is almost behind us. It's been another solid month of progress, and May is setup to be our biggest month yet.

A Name & Identity

We unveiled the name and identity for Sifter. Of course, that doesn't mean a whole lot to the outside world, but it was an exciting turning point nonetheless.

We Have Forums

We're huge believers in open and honest conversations, and I've wanted to get some forums up and running for some time. Unfortunately, I didn't want to take any time away from Sifter to do it. Fortunately, Satisfaction is a great solution, and I was able to get it going in a couple of hours. So, swing by the Next Update forms and let us know what's on your mind.

Screencast Status Update

We also managed to put together a screencast to show how things are going and how Sifter works. There's still plenty more work for us to do, but the initial respose was good, and I imagine we'll be seeing more of these over time.

Behind the Scenes

Most of the action here occurred behind the scenes. Logistical things like getting a bank account, merchant account, and that sort of thing are all moving along. With the exception of the billing engine, Sifter is more or less feature complete, and I've been spending the majority of my time polishing up what we have, writing tests, and improving the codebase.
